If the goal for our spiritual life is perfect holiness, then we need help. The good news is that there is indeed help to grow as a Christian in the gap between salvation and heaven. We have both the Holy Spirit and our brothers/sisters in Christ to partner with us as we walk toward home (heaven). We are not alone and these partnerships make a difference in the process. As Paul finishes his letter to his friends in Thessalonica, he encourages them and exhorts them and loves on them. His final words as he signs the letter are important for us too as we commit ourselves to partnerships for spiritual progress.
